I have to disagree W, cod uo feels like I am walking backwards compared to cod 4. The mud in Virginia must be different than in Tennesse.
I just played a couple of hours on the beta. It does feel a little muddy. Not too bad to play it, just different feel than cod4. I have been told the reason for the demo is to have time to tweak the game before release.

Hope they are telling you the truth as I was just told that muddy feeling is because it was ported from the console ver.

About WT...I think this is what we need to do...get with Activision and Treyarch and conspire a little plot. Let's get them to change the names of their organization and release the next Call of Duty games under a different name. The only people who will know anything are Holback, me, and Sky. Next, we can try to get WT excited about playing this NEW game. And then, after WT gets hooked on it, we can go ahead and ask them to change everything back to normal.

5 more days and a wake-up!!! I'll be getting the game on the PS3. But at least I will be getting it period. I will have to trade-in other PS3 games to get it. But I will be willing to make that sacrifice. As for gaming with you guys, if you guys end up playing CoD4, let me know and I will try to join you. I hope you guys will still be playing CoD4. I think from here on out. I will be done with PC gaming for any games that come out from this point forward. I just don't have the $$$ to keep updating my pc. If I ever get a newer, more up-to-date, more powerful computer within the next several years, I will be able to start back again.

Let me get it and see how it plays. If the graphics and hit boxes don't improve I'll be pissed.
I will have a cod4 server up even if we stay with World at War. It took a good 4 months before CoD4 was really playable and bug-free.

This is from a dev at Treyarch: Following will be fixed in retail version!
ZITAT(Anthony Neil - Developer) "1. Spawn points will be fixed. There are over 40 spawn points for every map. We have a system in place to insure that players spawn as far away as possible from enemies and explosives.
2. All single shot guns: shotguns, bolt action rifles, sniper guns, etc. will be given a power boost to balance out the game play.
3. Weapon skins, characters, vehicles, backgrounds, lighting, gun particles, etc. will be more detailed.
4. Music and sound effects are being worked on. We want the gun sounds, footsteps, explosions, voice actors to be absolutely perfect. When you hear a gunshot, we want the players to jump in their seats.
5. We have created all new gametypes that will be revealed only when the game comes out.
6. We are working on certain new perks, such as, the ability to climb trees, swim underwater, etc.
7. There is a new game server being put in place to help players find the best connection possible, find players with similar ranks, and make lag a thing of the past.
8. The new coop mode is going to be ridiculous. Those of you who buy the game will be in for a few surprises. You'll see things that you have not seen in Call of Duty 4. You'll have multiple teams playing on the same coop game. Some as Allies and some as Germans and Japanese?
9. We have made sure that all of our maps our glitch free. No more jumping out of maps people. Even on Old School! We have placed sensors outside the map, so if anyone leaves the game boundaries, the game ends for them.
10. There will be more points given when people do things like capture the flag, plant or diffuse a bomb, etc.
11. We have created smaller maps for the people that likes Shipment."

The control scheme for the PS3 controller is a bit different than I would have expected. It will take some time to get used to. But other than that, the game is AWESOME!
Most notably, the graphics are INCREDIBLE! Secondly, the battlefield layout is completely different than what has come before. The terrain is different as well as the environment. New features of the game add for suspense and excitement too. For example, when flares are used, it is almost creepy watching the Japenese creep out of their hiding spots toward you!
And then there is Keifer Sutherland! The man is awesome in this game. I haven't yet got to the part where Gary Oldman lends his voice. I can hardly wait though!
Finally, I am glad to see that the Call of Duty franchise has finally paid homage to the Marine Corps. They were beginning to look like the red-headed stepchild for awhile there. LOL!

I don't know why...but I think I like CoD4 a bit better. Don't get me wrong, it is cool that Keifer and Gary are lending their voices and all. But I think I like the characterization in CoD4's Single Player Campaign much better. I feel as though I feel more like I am in the middle of the fray. But with CoD 5, I still feel like I am playing a video game. But don't get me wrong, I feel like I am playing a damned FUN video game.

I saw Bryan Adams at the New Daisy the day his new album was released. I was doing security at Walmart at his cd signing right before the concert started. He said he's old but not tired. Had a girl with him that was half his age

His copyright people contacted me and asked me to remove the video. Shit. Like that video was going to hurt him! It wasn't doing me any good except making my video that much funnier. What a sensitive prick! I sent them a message stating that I would go ahead and replace his music with that of the Red Hot Chili Peppers since they obviously don't object. LOL!
